2026 is the year to add PERSONALITY to your home!! More custom, more character, less copying and more YOU.

Here are five ways you can add more custom details to your spaces:

1. Upgrade the trim and millwork.
Get fancy with it! Not just shiplap. Crown molding, a chair rail, or box paneling can instantly elevate and curate a very bland room or hallway.

2. Be intentional with materials.
Whether that be fabrics for new curtains or tile selection for a bathroom renovation. Let it be thoughtful and a representation of YOU, not just what you see “trending” online. Draw inspiration from outside sources but ultimately, let your space reflect you.

3. Layer lighting, not just fixtures.
Lamps, sconces, picture lights - OH MY! Having layers of lighting can instantly shift the atmosphere and the mood of a space. Want an even more simple approach? Swap lightbulbs! Changing from a daylight bulb to a soft white bulb could add cozy you never knew was possible.

4. Customize the background elements.
Cabinet hardware, light switch plates, vent covers - all of these seemingly small details in a home provide endless opportunities to customize and add intentionality to every room.

5. Design for how you actually live.

HAPPY 2026 FAM!!!

We took a little holiday break here on the gram - enjoying the season with our tiny humans and families, it was such a special time!

Taking an Instagram minute to reflect on the year we left behind - we are so grateful for every client, every project, and every opportunity we were blessed with in 2025. It was a year of growth in many ways and we’re so amazed at how our small business keeps chugging into it’s EIGHTH YEAR!! We love what we do and we are so eager for what’s to come!

We kicked off our new year with a goal setting and vision meeting for 2026 and we landed on pursuing one main goal. MORE CUSTOM! We are ready to push our creative limits with custom builds, innovative ideas and out of the box design. You don’t have bad taste.
You just have too many ideas.

Pinterest is amazing… until every room you love is pulling your space in a different direction. One photo is warm and minimal, the next is moody and vintage, then suddenly you’re saving coastal kitchens and modern European bedrooms. Individually? Gorgeous. Together? Confusing.

That’s usually where the frustration shows up.
You buy pieces you like, but they don’t like each other.
The scale feels off. The room feels unfinished. And you can’t quite explain why.

Here’s the shift that changes everything:
Great design isn’t about collecting pretty things. It’s about editing.

When a space has a clear point of view, every decision gets easier. Furniture feels intentional. Materials start to repeat. The room flows instead of fighting for attention. Calm replaces chaos.
